The Christmas Holidays

Hello and Happy New year to all.

I was quite busy this Christmas.

First we flew to Paris before transiting to Bordeaux to see my grand-parents. Paris was under a snow storm and the temperature reminded me of home. Mum organised a surprise to go and see Mickey Mouse at EuroDisney. Well, let me tell you that when it snows, Mickey is not anywhere to be seen. What a Chicken!

This certificate is a reminder that Air France lost our baggage and my pram.

Paris was a bit stressful, since hundreds of flights were cancelled and we did not know if we would be forced to spend Christmas night sleeping at the airport. After many hours of queueing, we were lucky. I was going to see my cousin Matteo.

Since Matteo and I behaved very well, we met Father Christmas.
Father Christmas came in from the cold but when he entered the warm house, his glasses steamed up and he could not see us. He says he wears glasses because when he drives the sledge with Rudolf it gets pretty windy. Anyway, we still got a big hug and lots of presents.

Matteo received a big wooden box to put all his toys for Xmas. We thought it was a nice area to explore.

Xmas was also for the less small ;-) Party game on the new ipad

Matteo and his new truck

I jumped on Matteo's toy while he was not looking.

Splashing along in the bath tub.

We walked in a maze and found some strange wooden seats.

We also went for a walk in a zoo. The animals were strong and did not seem to mind the cold weather. Most of them were out and about, unlike the "frileux" Mickey Mouse from EuroDisney. Well, all except the giraffe, which was nowhere to be seen. She was apparently tanning herself under infrared lights. Chochotte!

The red panda

The otters were really funny. Walking all together ...always.

A wild cat

Strong lions

also some non exotic animal ;-)

A white tiger and its baby. She was born in July 2010 and she was so playful. Very funny to see.

A cheeky little monkey that escaped from his cage and wandered with us. Apparently he was well known for his little escapades.
